Why do we, pretty stupid people, think that we can develop artificial ‘intelligence’, which develops itself further – at lightning speed – and then… becomes ‘super intelligent’?
Where do we get the idea that we could create super intelligence?
We barely understand a fraction of our own intelligence and our own consciousness!
For example, we apparently do not yet understand that we should only use this supposedly smart software to assist and advise us, and that we should of course not give it autonomous executive power, because that is a guaranteed recipe for disaster.
It’s a fact: we’re pretty stupid.
