The noise of
better places to go
her staying out all night
calm down
no reason to
be reasonable


A Blackout Poem is made from an existing piece of text (in this case a page from a damaged old book), by picking words for the poem and blacking out all other words with a marker.
The poem has no relation with the original text.
The poet is limited by the words she happens to find in the text.

a typical
beauty
fabulous
her lips were
generous

It’s over
He thought
I can’t hear a thing
